Bluebean Opticalは、赤外線画像や監視からリモートセンシングやIR分光法まで、赤外線用途に広く使用されている精密ゲルマニウム光学部品を製造しています。その有用な伝送範囲は1.8um mから17um mです。透過範囲が広く、可視不透明なため、Geはレーザーや光学システムのIRアプリケーション用の光学部品の製造に適しています。屈折率が高い(4以上)ため、レンズ設計に特に注目されています。ゲルマニウム部品は、基板の表面反射率が高いため、ARコーティングで使用されます。
