びぼう (BiB3O6) は、新たに開発された非線形光学結晶です。それは湿気に関して大きい有効な非線形係数、高い損傷の閾値および不活性を所有している。その非線形係数は、LBO よりも 3.5 ~ 4 倍高く、BBO より 1.5 ~ 2 倍高い。これは、青色レーザーを生成する有望な倍増結晶です。
